Wallet, phone, keys before leaving for somewhere?
My buddy thinks I'm weird and OCD for this.
My list adds money as a 4th.
Do some international travel and you'll be tapping that wallet about every 10 seconds when places get crowded.

Damn, I do that exact thing before leaving the house. Get one of these:

Yep, several times a day when I am out walking, and every time I move from wherever I happen to be stationary at the time.
Traveling really messes with me, because I don't like to sit on a plane or in a car for a long time with my wallet in the my back pocket, so I'll drop it in the jacket pocket or in my bag. Heart jump when the 3 pat yields varying results.

Many times a day.
Wallet - Back left.
Phone - Front left.
Keys - Front right.
Check, check, and check.
....and that sinking feeling when one of the checks 'fails'.

4 pat check. Wallet, phone, keys... and koozie in the back left pocket BECAUSE YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN YOU'LL NEED A BEER.

Not all of the time but most of the time, especially before going out for the night or out of town.

Always. My building is a damn fortress and I ever left without my house keys it would be a huge pain in the arse.

We're about to begin chapstick season too.
I know a few chapstick addicts. Sad. They have that haunted look if they don't get their fix.

i do most mornings. I can say that I have been pretty good about not forgetting one of those items. I have forgotten a child though

There's people that don't do the check?

no no no - all wrong
Keys - Front Left
Phone - Front Right
Wallet - Back Right
That feeling is the worst. When I don't automatically feel one of them - I always kind of slowly check the pocket. It's like my brain is saying that it doesn't really want to know that something is missing.

Wallet stays in truck
Keys stay in truck (door number lock thing)
Sometimes I wish I would forget my phone.

I do it when I get out of the car too. OCD means never having to call for a pop a lock and not having a phone to do it with.
