Is this a method you use to remember you locked it or something else?
My dad is OCD, I remember looking at the oven dials for several minutes as a kid (when mom was away) and him going "off, off, off....off, off, off..." I'm recovering from my slight obsession, but when mine was really bad I'd do a systematic shake of the door handle with a certain pattern after locking it so I could remember doing it later.

I have apps on my phone that control my AC, lights, door locks, alarm, garage door(if I had one), security camera's
