That's not how this works.

I-14 is already signed as I-14 where it exists in Texas because it is an east-west interstate route north of I-12 and south of I-16.

take the money for this and build another bridge across the Mississippi and a bypass around Baton Rouge.....that would be money well spent

Where? I haven't driven 20 east of Shreveport in a while, but I've very rarely been in traffic on 20 outside of DFW

Traffic between Ruston and Monroe is pretty solid all hours of the day and night. I assume most of that is thru traffic.

We will all be dead before this is a reality... probably dead before 49 and 69 are built in Louisiana
