If you giving off that immediately identifiable angry dad vibe then most people will keep a safe distance away and avoid eye contact. And often even clear the way for you to get in and get out as quickly as possible. Then maybe you can laugh about it later.

I have just the opposite issue in every store I go in...can't find an employee on a dare. It used to be commonplace to be asked if you needed any assistance in a store.....now it is so rare it seems like they are suggesting something sinister about our presence. I would appreciate the attention personally....cause I ain't hardly found an employee in a store in years...most of the time you can't even find a cashier to pay for your stuff.
