Any other Dads get harassed by store employees when you are sent alone to get diapers?

You can’t be a guy anywhere near toys, diapers, etc for 5 mins before an employee will engage you.
2 y/o Daughter is sick so wife asked me to get some toddler cold medicine and some diapers. I wasn’t there for more than 45 secs when I called my wife to ask her which brands/model she wanted, and this security guard (not your average, dude looked like an FBI agent), asked me if I needed help. I said no, grabbed the diapers, then made my way to the pharmacy to get children’s cold medicine, and I look over my shoulder and see the dude looking at me from a couple aisles away….diapers aren’t near pharmacy at this Target.
A similar thing happened a month ago at Walmart. Wife sent me to get bubbles for a birthday party. I went down a couple aisles looking for it, and boom “can I help you find something?”
Is this the norm?
