I’m talking to one currently. She’s a stereotypical teacher in that she constantly complains and whines about everything.

She constantly has a point to prove about how tough her job is and how she doesn’t get laid enough. Personally, I think their pay is pretty fair though. They get two months of time off during, two weeks for Christmas, a week for Thanksgiving, a week for Mardi Gras, and a week for Easter. They’re also home by 3:00 every day and and get every weekend off. I think the pay is pretty fair considering all of this.

I think it’s just the toxic culture of education that makes all these teacher whine and complain constantly. It’s a “when in Rome, do as the Romans do type of thing. Anyone else have to deal with this in their relationships?

Yes. Beware you have a good read on the situation. If she wants to teach forever this is your future if y'all get serious. If she shows any signs of wanting to get out and go into sales or something, encourage it.

I married one; however, my wife doesn’t complain much about it. When she does it’s normally a bad arse kid that needs an arse whippin though, not money. I make substantially more than her though and she never has to worry about money.

Those 16 year old boys are so busy with the extracurricular stuff that they just don’t have time to rail her in the parking lot anymore.

i know that they pay for a lot of shite that they shouldn't pay for.

for example.........they are constantly painting and fixing up their classrooms on their dime.

if i was a teacher, i promise you that i wouldn't be spending my money to re-paint or fix up a fricking classroom. tough shite.

How much time have you spent in a classroom recently? Try substituting, and you’ll change your mind in 5 minutes. I quit after 15 years because there is no discipline and parenting is very absent these days.
