WTF does that to do with the price of tea in China

If you follow the thread and not pull posts without context, it'll make some sense. Go back to the post I was replying to.

You can sell booze in the dry villages up here for $200 bucks a pint. Not that I've been involved or anything....

I know little to nothing about AK's demographics but it seems that Roger is telling us that many people are descendants of Scandinavian immigrants.

In this part, yep. Lots of Olsens, Jensens, Johansens and stuff I can't spell, much less pronounce that ends with stadt. Sons of Norway is the largest fraternal org. around.

The blue part to the Southeast is where I live. It's the size of Florida. The white parts are the bush, and it's mostly native.

King air is the way to go in my opinion, we can go pretty much any where we want to on it and cost per hour to operate is pretty good. Perfect plane for sec football trips etc. Even use to take it to Mexico hunting Have a jet card that hardly gets used.

One of the best STOL aircraft there is for an individual. So damn versatile too. LINK You can land these on a mountain top or a sand bar.

I had an opportunity about 25 years ago to buy a Citabria for 16.5K. The only problem is I didn't have the 16.5K. I love rag-and-tube taildraggers.

My uncle owns a Citation II, King Air and Cessna 414.

I don't own a share but have utilized his fleet in the past:)

I would never want a Jet, the most I have ever looked at would be a Mooney C or a Bellanaca Turbo( found one for a great price, 200mph cruise at 13.5 gph)

$41,000

I wonder what upkeep is on it.

1319 TBO

has three axis autopilot.

200mph cruise

10.5 gph economy

I am extremely fortunate that I get to fly 4-6 times a month on a G650

Glad to see so many aviation enthusiasts here. Personally I've flown everything from Beechjets and Lears to King Airs and Cessnas. I'd love to own a nice Cirrus or Bonanza one day
