The absolute worst time you can dump someone is late on Christmas eve. It proves that you have a special dislike for them and want to cause as much pain as possible.
If she saw you as a friend, she saw you that way a month ago too. She hung out long enough to get the Christmas present, then stabbed you. She does not see you as a friend. She chose to hit you as hard as possible.
If she tries to contact you, it is only because she did not feel you were hurt enough and she has new plans to hurt you worse. She may feel that your handling it maturely cheated her out of the response she wanted. This may make her want a re-do.
For whatever reason, she hates you and wants to be cruel to you. Congrats on getting on a plane and putting miles between you.

Friday morning update: SIL was caught shooting up in the bathroom, fireworks ensued 
SIL's probation officer was called, hopefully her junk arse is in jail for new years.

My uncle that lives in half way house asked mom if he could bring a friend over that had no where to go last night. Mom said yes but my brother in law refused to bring his and my sister's kids if the friend came. Mom, not wanting to miss her grand kids for xmas, had to call uncle and tell him he couldn't bring friend. Uncle never showed up and mom thinks he's out using.
Brother in law is a conceited dick to think my parents would actually allow someone harmful into the house. Mom cried and upset she wasn't allowed to be her usual welcoming self.

I wish I could witness some of these family dramas. In all of the Christmas and thanksgiving gatherings I've been to I can't remember anyone even getting in a heated argument. Maybe there was and I just don't remember it.
