No, no bourbon drinkers on a predominantly Louisiana message board.

I was a recent convert to Blanton's. I love Basil Hayden's too. It's the shite....

i drank some craft beers on tap after work on new years eve and skipped out on the liquor.

sometimes i go back and forth on which one i'm more tired of and just drink one or the other.

right now i'm on the beer.

keep sipping on those Bourbon drinks and see where that gets you though

There is a huge thread on the FDB dedicated to this
there was recently a thread ranking the OP's bourbon of choice, bulleit, as only good enough for mixers. he'll need to develop quite a bit more snobbery before he ventures over there.

Unless you are posting your fourth pour of pappy you aren't gonna get much of a response.

I've never heard of this "Bourbon" you speak of. May have to give it a try.

There are plenty of very good, affordable, attainable Bourbon's that aren't called Pappy Van Winkle or Buffalo Trace Antique Collection. Bulleit is a fine Bourbon but I prefer Eagle Rare 10, Four Roses Small Batch, Four Roses Single Barrel, Blanton's, EH Taylor Small Batch. All of these can be found on the shelves and with the exception of Blanton's is less than $50.
