Try to defeat tear gas/pepper spray, I'd guess. Also made a handy disguise at first when nobody knew who he was. Now, not so much.

Spoke to someone who is as high up as you can go with the Jazz Fest and he is pissed beyond belief at the city council and Landrieu because attendance is down significantly for tomorrow's event due to national attention and violence threat. He said several hotels started reporting tourists started checking out of their hotels early and leaving the city.
