Another Scientology thread: Anyone know any Baton Rouge members?

The 20/20 tonight with Leah remini got me wondering, how many people actually go to the "church" in Baton Rouge off airline. I know a lot of people in br so I figured I'd check out their FB page and see if any of my friends on Fb like the church page. I didn't have any, but they have about 1600 followers. So do you know anyone in ebr falling for this scam?

Normally I'm all "live and let live" when it comes to religions and/or Christian denominations. However, when it comes to scientology, anybody who openly admits to being affiliated with that bunch should be absolutely humiliated.

I'm a bit surprised they have that many followers in BR. I wonder if that number is inflated like all the other BS the claim.

I will say this, a large contingent of volunteers with Scientology garb helped gut homes (post flood) in the neighborhood I was helping in. I worked alongside a few. Quirky, but hard working folk.

There's a reason why Scientologists target celebrities. They want as many rich, vapid and shallow people as possible to fleece with their authoritarian sci-fi nonsense.
