the car wash thing bothers the hell out of me. it feels like a door to door salesman when they rush over to touch the touch screen for me. I tried to drive to the farthest kiosk i could the other day but the kid ran to me to help. He then pressed the wrong buttons and had to cancel the transaction.

It is not about processing your card for you. It is about talking to you and trying to upsell the monthly service.

Not only has tipping culture going off the rails but the begging for donations by retail establishments in the checkout line is out of control too. No, I'm not rounding up. No, I'm not adding a dollar.

Corporations do this so that all of the money ‘they’ donate to the charity can be writen off on their taxes.

And for that reason alone- I never found up. I’d rather donate directly rather than help a random company / corporation with a tax break.

Tipping shouldn’t be a thing. Just work and get paid.

SO you are of the opinion that car washes paid their employees enough to meet their nut prior to Biden being elected?

Exactly what is "enough" of a salary for a car wash attendant position to "meet their nut"? If you owned an automated car wash, what do you feel would be a justified "salary" to pay your hourly staff of 3-4 attendants, and what special qualifications do they possess that would allow them to demand that dollar amount?

I’m 29. I don’t need any of that because I have a great job and know how to manage my finances. Sorry your underwater basket weaving degree didn’t work out for you

Half the time when I go through the car wash, they select the option I didn’t want. There is zero reason for you if you don’t select what I want
