See, cops, like criminals, would learn to not do shite like that if other cops would do something like whip their asses or not stick up for them in court when the douche bags did this. There is such thing as human decency and fricking dignity.
Eta: and I'm typically on cops sides. 99% of cops are fine, upstanding people. But that 1% needs to get weeded the frick out.

Yep. To make matters worse, the supervisor (the TPOS who punched him as he exited the car with this hands up) reported the other cop for kicking him, but conveniently left out that he, himself, punched him

No thanks. You are right- I don't have an agenda to circle jerk on cops who are doing their jobs (which I help pay for) the way they are supposed to do it. I do take issues, however, with cops who abuse power and believe they are above the law.

Cops have a fricked up job that, in a split second, their whole life can change if they make the wrong decision when the adrenaline is flowing and in the heat of the moment.
Again, I've done time for stupid shite revolving around drugs. But, I'm not a dumbass who is blind to the difficult job these guys have.
For example, put yourself in their shoes. If you're telling someone don't move 1000 times and yet they still reach in their pocket, what would you do? Especially, if the person is a known criminal? Do you wait for them to pull out a gun and shoot you and your family never see you again? Or, do you shoot them, only later to find out he was reaching for his wallet and you were wrong?
You see what I'm saying here? It's a fricked up job. And, as someone who dealt with the system, got maced down in the parish, I still respect the hell out of them and realize their job is difficult.
