I don't even know who Burl Cain was before I read the article, and no the problem is that we all pine for a solution but when one is brought to light all the hand wringing goes from "we have a problem" to "don't solve the problem on my lawn". I just don't understand it.
I agree there is a problem. But Burl Cain being elected King aint the solution

My soul is still stuck in traffic at the last Angola rodeo I attended. I have never attended any event anywhere with worse traffic. 6 hours to get from Angola to BR after the rodeo last year.

And this ignorant frick claims he can do something about BR traffic??

I don't think conservatives or liberals would think infrastructure for the greater public good as being something we can cut out of government. It's kind of one of the pillars of government, right?

Absolutely the worst person I could think of on the face of the planet to even remotely talk about traffic and have an idea on what to do about it.

My 2 year old niece would probably tell everyone to "Let it go, let it goooooooooooooooo"

That might be worse.

I have never been to Angola, but isn't LA 66 the only way into it? That's hardly Burl's fault.

Having a governor that just does shite he wants is not a pillar of govt

I guess he just goes and buys something without worrying about if actually has money to pay for it. Kinda dumb to be a governor (not that other governors have been geniuses either).

Anyone ask him how he is able to draw monthly retirement for retiring from the warden's position while still working and receiving full salary for being the warden ?

That is not what I'm arguing, so I don't really know what you're getting at.

Found the thread from last year. It was 2.5 hours to get from the parking lot to the front gates. LA-66 is when you get OUT of traffic after the rodeo.

I don't think he'd be the best person for the job, but whoever is running and has the most aggressive policy towards fixing BR traffic gets my vote.

Apparently Burl has never heard of the Federal Highways Administration. What an idiot.

But they do things his way in China. Perhaps he'd find life more pleasant over there.

I try to get to the rodeo about every five years or so. After last year I may never go again. The time spent in the parking lot trying to leave is longer than the actual rodeo itself.
