There is no way almost 40% of people in the South are gay. It's probably closer to 5%.

The infographic is showing how much each region contributes to the overall gay population, not that the percentages are reflective of gay portions of the entire population of a region.

I will say, Chas SC is overflowing and dykes are the majority.

No way SC is higher that NC.

Charlotte, Raleigh and freaking Asheville are full.

I call BS. Almost 37% gay. Even in the south has the highest number, it is no way that high. More than 1 of 3. Not buying it. In fact I think all those numbers are grossly overestimating the gay population

Yeah a third of people in the south are LGBT? No way.

They must be counting prison rape as “gay.” If that’s the case, there’s more gay in the south than anywhere.

Only if you include College Station in the south.

Just a bullshite way of reporting. 36% of “all gay people” are in the South, not 36% of population in the South….though that’s what they want you to believe!

Key West isn’t big, but I think 99.9% of the population is gay.

they're also including Maryland, Delaware and the NCR with the "south". i'll give them northern VA, but the rest of those areas shoudl have been included with the NE.

this graph is clearly designed to make it look like the south is disproportionally full of a bunch of secret homos.

P-Town, Massachusetts is, by far, the gayest.
