There's no way those quadrants have an even population base. The South is heavy for total population so they would obviously have more gays.
But let's be honest, about 80% of adult gays live in about a dozen cities scattered across the country.
I remember Dennis Miller did a joke on SNL weekend update about how the Idaho Govt had petitioned a $10 million grant to research the history of homosexuals in Idaho. Miller said, "let me save you ten million, they all turned 18 and moved to San Francisco."

i was just in Portsmouth, New Hampshire and Portland Maine a few weeks ago.
If flown flags outside building are a sign, that entire area is filled with nothing but black gay people.

I like how they skewed the numbers for the West Coast by including states like Idaho, Montana, etc.
