Graduates HS at 10 and completes 3 collegiate degrees at 11 with a 4.0?

Mad skills.

3 degrees from a Community College is like .75 degrees from a good university.

3 degrees in one year? Consider me skeptical.

How can you get any degree in a year? There are some classes the require prerequisite classes before you can even enroll. IE how could you enroll in advanced biology classes when you havet even taken biology 101. These core classes aren't typically offered over winter mini sessions or anything.

I saw this on TV this morning. He was taking college classes all through high school (all 2 years of it) along with AP courses. Got to college and was already done with 2 1/2 years.

This is similar to the kid with 8 associate degrees in engineering who graduated school. You can read this story by scrolling on the link that's further down after reading about the 11 year old.

Dual credit programs are a waste of time.

I'm wondering if they also let him skip some core classes and let him perhaps take proficiency exams to get ahead.

3 degrees? Say 20 hours per degree for just major courses. That's 60 hours of coursework, homework, and studying in the span of 36 weeks.

Even if he did accomplish it, what kind of life is that for an 11 year old? There's no way he had the chance to get a crush on a girl or throw a baseball or go swimming. The kid had to have been working 16 hours a day for seven days a week.

I wonder how medical schools feel about the prestigious American River College?
