Got an e-mail from them this morning offering some great discounts on their tablets/e-readers. I've had the Kindle paperwhite on my wishlist for a while and got $75 off thanks to the e-mail. $50 or $75 discounts on their entire lineup fwiw. Love me some prime.

The e-mail said it was a thank you for being a loyal prime member. I'm not close to my renewal date or anything though so I figured it wasn't exclusive to me

How about you post a link to the page it directs you to? Been looking at a paperwhite for the wife. I can search them, but am curious if the pricing from the email is better than I get when I log in.

If you google the offer the OP mentioned, you can load the offer to your amazon account. I just picked one up for myself. The original kindle is as low as $19.

I googled it, and it seems like it's only available to some select Prime members. And apparently. I don't qualify for the discount. 
All the shite I buy using Prime, including their POS Kindle (which is no longer under warranty but needs to be replaced) and apparently I'm not good enough. I'm about to go all CAD on these assholes. Maybe I should have jumped into his thread and defended Amazon and then I'd be "preferred".
ETA: give me a link, maybe yours will work for me, por favor.
