I've not seen anything to indicate that. The operator for GTE is the only one who was speaking with him at the time. In interviews, she says he said "are we ready" and then "let's roll" and she kept the line open for another 15 minutes or so, but all she heard was silence. I believe she said during that time, they heard that a plane went down near Pittsburg and she knew it was his. I don't believe she's ever wavered from that story or his words to her during their conversation. She is the only witness to what he said.

I don't know if she's taken any advantage of it or not, but she could easily make a few bucks as a motivational speaker, that's quite an underground cottage industry, I've got a couple of friends that do it , you be amazed at what companies will pay to force their employees to listen to

She is not who I am referring to in that statement. She is part of the propaganda in that statement.

There is no evidence that she's gotten any personal gain, financial or otherwise. She's a single mother with two children. She relayed the story in 2011, 10 years after the occurrence. To date, there's nothing out there to indicate she's been paid financially or otherwise for telling it. She's gone on with her life. There's no book, no nothing. She races planes.

Do you seriously not think that someone with the gov't wouldn't have denied or questioned her story when it was first printed in the Washington Post 4 years ago?

I believe most of the other stories are from the Post article rather than interviews with her. Look it up.
