Who wants to sit in first class having to watch all the poors pass their travel balls inches from your nostrils.

I try to be the last person boarding.

Yeah, I've always thought a seating area away from the crowd with their drinks and such, and then board last would be much better than boarding first and having every passenger hitting you with their carry ons.

So with Delta, that would be Premium & Diamonds, the Sky Priority, then Zone 1

Then you want Zone 3 then Zone 2

I don't see much of a difference

Thanks! I want the 18-135mm lens so I went with a deal with a MIR through Adorama. Now I have a lot of learning to do (and some gear to purchase).

For the boarding, I think it is an additional layer.

I think you board each zone from back to front...I envision a line up setup similar to how Southwest does it.

Everyone has a seat number at that point, so line up Diamonds from the back of the plane to the front. Then do to same for SKY, Zone 1, Zone 2, etc.

This would mean that everyone gets the perks of status / priority and no one has to wait on the person in front of them to board (since everyone is walking farther back in the plane).

But they were specifically designed to do that! Any business professional who travels frequently would tell you you're wrong. If the flight isn't full, or you're sitting at the front of business or first class, then it's fine for you put your briefcase up there. But on the busiest travel day of the year, then it's bullshite (save for the people who don't have the option for under seat storage).

Yea i don't know what this guys talking about. They are designed to fit perfectly in the bin. I'm a consultant, I love traveling on Monday morning and Thursday afternoon flights because its people that know all the rules and etiquette.

That is how it works for some larger planes. Business enters and goes to the left and everyone else goes to the right.

That would give priority to overhead bins to zone 3 passengers

Don't complain about I-10, I-95 is 100x worse

I see no difference between zone 2, 3, and 4... It is l regular travelers that have no status.

My luggage is checked for free, like someone else said I paid for that overhead space (priority boarding, etc). If I want to put my briefcase up which I do I've earned that (miles), you can GFY boarding with the curry smelling folk
