Here's my ne that drives me crazy and is often overlooked.

People that drag their rollerboard down the aisle. It almost always gets caught on something or someone, causing a delay in boarding/deplaning. Multiply that small delay by 100 people, making your already tight connection a sprint... It's not the airlines fault you suck at life.

Just pick it up and carry it.

Forget that. I will always put my briefcase in overhead bin. I paid for that room where my feet go. Sorry for your late boarding category.

Exactly. I don't know why mini suitcases are acceptable now. Carry-ons should basically be purses, maybe small/medium backpacks. People feel entitled to fricking carry a week's worth of items on and it just leads to fights for room in the bin when they should be checking those things.

My carry on carries a week worth of clothes without a problem. I can easily fit it into the overhead. This is a perfect use of the space.

I only put my briefcase above if the flight is not full and there is plenty of overhead space.

I would be cool with HVC boarding first and then board from back to front. There is definitely process improvement opportunities. Airlines have huge financial incentives to improve the turns on each leg.

So with Delta, that would be Premium & Diamonds, the Sky Priority, then Zone 1

Then you want Zone 3 then Zone 2

I don't see much of a difference

Who wants to sit in first class having to watch all the poors pass their travel balls inches from your nostrils.

But they were specifically designed to do that! Any business professional who travels frequently would tell you you're wrong. If the flight isn't full, or you're sitting at the front of business or first class, then it's fine for you put your briefcase up there. But on the busiest travel day of the year, then it's bullshite (save for the people who don't have the option for under seat storage).

Those bins were designed for me to be able to carry on a bag that is reasonable enough for me not to check, pay a $25.00 fee, and wait 30 minutes in baggage claim for. I think saving 30 or more minutes is a hell of a lot better reason for me to put my roll-on in overhead storage than for your feet to be slightly roomier. Anyone who says otherwise clearly doesn't travel much at all and doesn't have to put up with this on monthly basis.
