Was changing some old worn deck boards on my deck and was pulling nails. I was yanking a nail out with my hammer and my hand slipped and hit another nearby nail. It sliced my pinky finger deep. So deep it barely bleeds and I just see flesh. Haven't had a tetanus shot since I was a child as far as I know.

The urgent care clinics are all closed and I ain't gonna go to the ER like a doofus. So I just went in there and poured peroxide on it and bandaged it.

Am I gonna die, baws?

no, as long as it isn't something such as a deep puncture wound that cant bleed out, it should be fine. Man the F up

Tetanus shots every 10 years I think. I cut my leg a while back and they gave me one because it had been 40+ since my original tetanus shot.

This. The lack of being able to clean/disinfect a deep puncture wound is the reason tetanus is so often connected with nails.

Years ago I managed to step on a rusty nail that went through my shoe and into my foot, 24 hours later I had a rash covering my stomach and chest. The rash was my only symptom and it was gone the next day. I probably dodged a bullet, but stepping on the rusty nail without a doubt caused the rash.

Peroxide is not what you supposed to use. You have to use alcohol.
