I keep seeing these signs up that the left lane is for passing. I do plan to eventually pass someone.

Depends on where you are, but likely so if you see signs.

A recent thread addressed this. Some states it is a law to stay in the right lane unless you are immediately passing someone, some states it is suggested.

Regardless of what state you're in, I'd want you to GTFO my way and everyone else's. And enjoy my one finger salute to you

On three occasions I have seen state troopers between Troop B and 310 get on a Left lane abuser's arse, and then stay on it until they get over, and then the trooper just takes off.

I have never seen someone get pulled over for going slow in the left.
I hate people that do it, but just gave in and pass on the right.

I'm gonna pass you either way. Safely or dangerously....makes no difference to me. Just don't complain when you have to detour to clean the shite out of your pants

Ticketed for going the speed limit while some other a-hole trying to go 30mph over the limit was mildly inconvenienced for a few seconds? That doesn't sound right.

I always love the "I'm going plenty fast enough" comment to that whole issue.

Makes me feel extremely face punchey all of a sudden

It's been proven that cruising in the left lane causes more accidents than if you drive in the right lane and only use the left to pass.

i once saw a cop on 10 headed towards Nola turn his lights on behind a left lane slowpoke, merge him over into the right lane, start to follow him onto the shoulder then the cop merged back into the right lane and kept rolling.

I prefer to pass on the right. I'm a rebel. I'm pretty hardcore.

I'm going the maximum speed. Why is someone allowed to pass me? Aren't they breaking the law?
