Lets say for the sake of argument it's all true. Now ask yourself this, if you lived 2000 years ago with zero concept of an airplane, missles, nukes whatever, how would you describe them if you saw them? Remember you can only use the language and your everyday world experience.

Perhaps.
But perhaps it's only creepy to people who feel greatly ashamed by their sins and the thought of having to one day answer to God about their darkest sins.
Sins cover both actions and thoughts.
However, it is kinda creepy to know that God is always watching us. He knows of everything we've done and/or thought.
