Alabama Gov Bentley's Affair

Guy is Monty Burns long lost son.
Wife of 50 years filed for divorce last week. He's alleged to have had affair with staffer. Got her husband cushy state job. She's gone from communication director to "senior advisor".
State had paid the Mason's almost a $1 million combined over the last few years....with complicity from the corrupt state personnel board, director and legal counsel.
Oh, and the State still has no budget.

The state gov up here is as fricked up as a football bat. Just this morning on the bottom of the hour news update they were talking about how the gov wants to raise cigarette taxes to make up for the shortfall in the budget. The very next story was how the state was trying to shut down the Indian casinos here in Alabama.

Oh yeah, the Speaker of the House Mike Hubbard is currently under indictment on 23 counts of using his office for personal gain and
Other ethics violations.
He's the guy that "stormed the statehouse" starting with all new ethics laws....that apparently he believes shouldn't apply to him.

How legit is this? I read both articles and the only definitive facts that i read were
-He gave the lady a job through a third party
-some government guy posted to Facebook that he cheated with her
-his wife is divorcing him
-he hasn't publicly denied it yet

Dammit, and I thought he was going to be the governor who didn't go to jail on ethics violations.
Guy Hunt, Fob James, Don Siegelman all brought up on charges (FOb more for his son than anything he did).
Funny thing is the son of Alabama's most crooked politician (Big Jim Folsom) was the clean one of the group.
