Airport floor sanitation

How disgusting are floors in the airport where you have to take off your shoes? Justbwalked through one that was old carpet that was the filthiest thing I've seen. Has to be full of all sorts of unsavory germs and who knows what else.

The carpets in MSY Terminal are going to seed, they'd probably already have been replaced if the whole operation were not going to be moving to the new terminal in a couple of years.
After walking through MSY I want to treat my shoes like FQ Mardi Gras shoes.

ATL all the floors are washed, and buffed, nightly around 1AM. Unfortunately I had to sleep at my gate last monday night and got to see all the afterhours operations.
Bathrooms are all cleaned hourly.
The dirtiest floors are the airplane carpet.

Baw, it's definitely worth the money. I've flown in the busiest airports and it saves me tons of time. Ever been to Denver? One line for all general boarding. That shite takes at least an hour.

Baw I'm trying to avoid having any more people in the precheck line. I use it like 4-8 times a week. Yes I know it's worth it, there just getting to be too many people using it.
