Can I be reimbursed for the damages?

How long is the process?

Yes. Go to the airline's website. They have a few forms for these situations.

I fly every week.

I can understand a bag getting roughed up, zippers ripped off, etc or just wear and tear of your luggage.

But this is the first time some of my stuff inside my bag was fricked.

Airlines have to cover your contents up to $3400 I believe if they are damaged or destroyed.

File a claim with the airline you arrived to your final destination.

Your mom said it cost her $199.99 at one of those sexual parties, but that was with a coupon.

They damaged my checked luggage. The wheel was broken off of a piece of rolling suitcase. The airline said they weren't responsible for the wheels of the luggage, because they are an external component that had been added on to the bag. Bunch of dipshits. They're probably all Democrats.

My daughter and wife flew to San Antonio a few months ago. Daughters luggage was fricked up pretty bad. They gave her some cheap replacement luggage and info on filing a claim. She filed the claim and got a check pretty quick.

My garment bag fell from the luggage cart and was drug all the way to o baggage claim. Everything in it (and the bag) was destroyed. We went through each item and I found the item (or something similar) online and they game me a payment in the value of what the replacement cost of each item was and gave me a new garment bag, It was over $1200 for the contents plus the new bag.

Then why are you checking luggage?

Do you have status with the airline? If so, they will take care of it pretty quickly. Delta bought me a new set of golf clubs/bag/travel case a couple years ago after they ran over the it with the luggage cart on the tarmac.

Some a-hole baggage check person opened a bottle of whiskey I had in my bag and poured it all in my clothes on my flight to Vegas one time. I didn't get overly upset about it because I would have smelled like booze and cigarettes within an hour of landing anyways.

I know someone who flew Southwest out of NOLA to Vegas and they were transporting a bunch of seafood and the seafood juice leaked all over her suitcase. It was soaked with it, almost everything in it was ruined. I dont' remember what happened with the process but I know she got a better suitcase out of the deal and some Tory Burch flats and a lot of her clothes were replaced.

I've got a tablet with a broken screen. Can you help me out and say it was in your bag?
