So I wonder what the total is when you finish paying it off with all of the interest.
Alot. I would definitely balance out need v want in this.

nutrition is your best medicine
so said the father of medicine, "let medicine be thy food, and let thy food be your medicine" hippocrates
load up on vitamins and ionic minerals from multiple sources
I had knee surgery in 2008 on left knee, but had the right bothering me here and there. but since taking minerals, not one event of pain from other knee
bioplasma - 4pills up to 8x a day
fulvic acid minerals concentrated...2-3 times a day as well
no minerals will ever interfere with medications

minerals
Acquire them.
That said, I have my doubts about supplements in general. I've found aches and pains come and go over periods of weeks to months all by themselves, and while things like glucosamine and chondroitin may seem to help, it's just coincidence AFAICT for me personally.

I do not believe in the theory of insurance.
What is the "theory of insurance"? Never heard of such a thing.

People with good immune systems do not need to see doctors for every little ailment.
Insurance isn't necessarily for every little ailment. It's also for serious shite like major burn care, cancer, etc. Stuff that costs several hundred thousand. You will wish you had insurance if that ever happens to you.

You have me all figured.
Never mind the fact that I have great disagreements with the idea of welfare and medical handouts. Im simple. I build small credit when I can. I don't pay interest on credit cards. I pay off vehicles within a few years. I spend money as save wisely.
Should the opportunity for a more advanced job present itself, I may review the option of health insurance.
In the meantime clean living and vitamin pills for me.
Lighten up man.

I complained of knee pain to my trainer and she recommended rolling my it band. It hurts like a mother fricker. But you can get a foam roller cheap from Amazon
Since you don't have insurance, it might not hurt to try it before spending a bunch on going to the dr ITBS

You also might try to find a or clinic that does free sports Evals. There are a couple of great clinics here that do these ... They can pick up on issues and make general recs. No doc order needed and no charge.

Just had an MRI done on my back. And because I haven't met my deductible for the year, I owe $705.12 WITH insurance.
Good luck...

Solid advice.
Tissue manipulation can ease trigger points and muscle tightness that can pull or refer to the knee.
Tight shins can actually slightly pull your patella downward.
Smash the hell out of your IT band and the "seam" between your IT band and your quads.
