DENVER — Denver police are reporting an active shooter situation with multiple victims Tuesday afternoon.
Paramedics took victims from scene of the shooting, at 15th and Wynkoop, just blocks from the University of Colorado Denver.

Sounds like 3 transported to hospital including gunman. Gunman reportedly shot himself. Gonna say 3 dead here.
Confirmed: Gunman shot himself dead. One female victim with multiple gunshot wounds, but in critical condition. Not a random shooting, gunman targeted the female.

frick, these things are always bad but when they go someplace that's got kids it really makes you wonder how shitty we're capable of being as a species.

It was in an office building, in downtown, surrounded by a bunch of restaurants, other office buildings, and Union Station. Tons of people around that area during the day. I used to work on that side of downtown but am now on the opposite side. Still take the shuttle down to that end for lunch a lot. It occurred in the Alliance Center building, home to several non-profits.
