Lately its less than $1K/yr. Just been working too much.
Those that live that extravagant lifestyle, how much do you spend on vacations a year?

We're both in jobs where we can technically take as much time as we want, but in practice don't get a viable chance to do so. So vacations are usually 3-4 long weekend, 3-4 day type of deals.
They're usually expensive, but not because they're too lavish, just because it's hard to plan ahead and get better rates. Varies a lot based on where we're going. Sometimes we've already got one flight paid for, or have somewhere to stay, something like that. Between the two of us, maybe 4-5k a year.

This year I have spent $4K on a trip to Disney with the family, about $2K this summer to Pigeon Forge, then another $3K on an all inclusive in Mexico, and around $2K for the LSU/Lambeau trip. Still looking to make one more trip around Thanksgiving/Christmas.
I've had a good year financially and this is not the norm for me with vacations.

Last year $3k Turks and Caicos
This year $3K Thailand and Cambodia
Next year $2500 Russia and probably $2500 for a beach trip somewhere.
I got tired of doing the Redneck Riviera and decided to spend my time and money seeing more of the world.

$5,000.00 per year - single, no kids

I go on lots of weekend trips, usually driving. The costs add up quick. If you include the bachelor party to Mexico, and flights home to visit the fam, I'm probably looking at 10-15k a year

We do a big trip every other year in the $10k range.
Alternating years, we just go to the family beach house on 30A. Cost is dinners, gas, and the cleaning service. We do this trip in October sometimes too.
We usually go to San Francisco for +/- a week every year. I guess that's several thousand.
ETA: forgot I am going to Costa Rica at the end of the month. Scored a free place to stay. Just out flights, two fishing trips, and whatever excursion we do in between.

I never keep track. I live within my means. Everyday is a vacation.

Took the family to Europe this summer and saw the Running of the Bulls. That was an expensive trip-about 20k. But that is not the norm (daughter was leaving for college). Most years are usually around 5k for trip to Colorado or Wyoming in the summer to get out of the heat. Use points for flights as much as possible.

Not much. I rarely take actual vacations. Mostly go visit friends or they come here to visit. For example, this year going to Phoenix for a wedding. Next year going to Atlanta for a Bat Mitzvah. A very exciting life I lead.
Will probably also go back for an LSU game next year.
