Abandoned Car Removed From Street

Best way to have this done in NOLA ? Car has been parked out front my place since April. Wasn't too bad of a problem since most of the poor folks around me don't drive. But now OT ballers are moving in for the culture and buying up all these new properties. Parking spots are now at a premium.

Obviously the car owner was murdered. I think you should just take it

200 bucks and a case of beer and I'll move it a couple blocks

it will take forever to have it done. Just push it to where it blocks someones driveway and then call the city parking authority.
The police won't do much for abandoned cars.
I reported a dumped stolen car in the East and two weeks later it was still there, so I reported it again, and a week later it WAS still there but now had no wheels on it.
No legal way to get it moved quickly.
Just get a shop jack and jack up the drive end and push the car till it blocks a driveway. Call the parking people and you will have a tow truck in 10 minutes (they love getting tow money)

Take the car and drive it for uber whenever it opens in nola

I would be willing to bet there is a shady tow company you can contact that will remove the car for $100

Put it up on blocks. Show off your Kennah class.

yeah the NOLA parking authority.
----"hello, there is a car blocking my driveway"
-"where you be at?"
-----{give address}
-"type car dat be dere?"
-----{make and model}
-"truck on way"
Bam taken care of and no paying anyone anything.
ETA- if in Kenner call code enforcement. But in Kenner it's rare for them not to already be on that.

This would never happen in kennerbrah

No, it wouldn't.
I have gone on vacation before and come back to chalk marks on the tires of my car.
They don't play around here when it comes to cars and stuff in front of the house.

This used to happen when I was renovating Sec 8 houses. Bust the window, jam it into neutral, and push it in the middle of the street. Then, call the cops and tell them there is a car blocking the street. Problem solved

fire..it's the only answer

Car is unlocked. I'm honestly surprised the radar detector is still sitting on the dash.

Could it belong to a student who left town for the summer?
Not sure where you live.

call the cops, at least they will be able to tell you if has been reported stolen.....
What district is this in?...if it's in the 8th, they probably are too busy looking for the Bourbon Street shooter so you're shite out of luck.

No it looks like it belongs to a day laborer from one of the new construction sites on the block. Maybe he got picked up from the job site and arrested / deported or something. Back in April the city came by and wrote some things on the windshield. I've seen them do that to other cars that are abandoned in the area. Last one that I noticed was there over a year.

Had this same issue near my crib where parking really is a premium…it sat there for about a month then finally disappeared…never realized it would be hard to get rid of but apparently it is…that sucks.
