I don't think anyone is saying he should be a free man, just debating whether he should be executed or spend the rest of his life in prison

There are over 2M ppl incarcerated in America and the number keeps rising. I hate to say it, but whats one more. I'd rather see him locked up than on the streets killing ppl...

He can't kill people if he's dead

Let's be honest who "enjoys" prison

I think you're being naive if you don't think some guys don't enjoy prison life over being free.

I think there's some parallels to the whole "rather rule in hell than serve in heaven" thing

He's been charged with what 3 homicides? Are they all in MA?

think he has already shown that he can handle himself in prison, plus he can probably join some gang for protection if he needs

I've watched enough of those Locked up shows to know this is true.

definitely more public outrage surrounding Sterling. Which is a shame

I'm not outraged by either situation, but tell me why I should be outraged about a guy in prison who's been charged with three murders and will have his day in court?

The legal system is doing exactly what it's supposed to do in the Hernandez case so why be outraged?

Is it that unique though? Its an old guy with off-color remarks. I'd say the remarks were pretty tame anyway in proportion with the outrage. Not even an n-bomb used.

And Marge Schott covered this 20yrs ago. shite, she was openly pro-nazi.

Schott came before the internet and social media, where everybody has an opinion and shite like this is magnified a million times. What Sterling said was absolutely tame compared to most of the stuff that happens in the world, its just that his words have incited lots of debate back and forth on a multitude of subjects, which is why the story doesn't go away. Hernandez didn't spark any debate, he is a stone killer. The kansas city linebacker and junior seau actually sparked more debate regarding suicide, depression and injuries.

The Kansas city linebacker
IMO that was a very quite story given the nature of it all and having taken place near the KC facilities.

Hernandez was actually playing and had(allegedly) already committed murder. Crazy
