Appeared to be very Alton Sterling-ish.

Intense fight between police and a suspect for a gun A great clip from A & E Live PD shows what law enforcement officers have to deal with on a daily basis. Lies, disrespect and second guessing from the public and ‘victim groups’ are the least of their problems.

You couldn't pay me enough to be a cop . . . and I say that out of real respect for our LEO's. They and inner-city teachers are the real warriors out there.

I didn't click the link (yes, I'm lazy), but if this is the Tulsa clip, it played a big factor in their chief's decision to end their contract with the show.

I love the show but I fear they'll eventually run out of decent departments to show.

Tulsa used to be a nice town. Now it's full of losers.

I think I'd like being a cop in a sleepy western town like Montana or Idaho. But frick being one in pretty much any town in the south. No way I'm dealing with that.

Watching shows like this and Cops really changes your perspective on what cops have to deal with.

You'd naturally be inclined to be skeptical that someone would be reaching for a gun with two cops struggling with them on the ground, but when you see these videos and the moronic mindset of some of the people they encounter, it's eye opening.

I was talking to some officers over in St. Tammany (the S.O. is being filmed currently) and I asked what the hell the Sheriff was thinking. These guys, who don't work for the S.O., were amazed that he would allow it. Being filmed live is insane. At least with COPS, the Chief had final editorial authority as per the contract. All it takes is for a camera to be present once when something untoward happens and the jurisdiction is screwed.
