Prayers sent.

Went thru this situation a year ago with one of my brothers-in-law (posted about it here and many of you fellow OT'ers sent kind thoughts and prayers). He was airlifted and wasn't given a very good chance. ER nurses told us after he was in the clear that there were several times in the first couple days that they didn't think he'd make it.

By some miracle he pulled thru and is on track to being as healthy as he was before the accident.

Keep praying! Miracles can happen.

Poor news, GB. Prayers sent.

I miss my old bikes, but I just see too much of this.

My former high school buddy who was my roomate at LSU was killed in a motorcycle accident. He was 23.
Still think about him all the time. Ever since I have not been near a bike. They scare me.

Good luck and best wishes to your friend.

Lots of people doing whatever with their cell phones are just as bad as drunk drivers. And there are tons more of these idiot people then there are drunk drivers.

You don't stand a chance riding a motorcycle in this day & age.

I missed this thread the first time around. I hope your buddy pulls through.

a vehicle didn't see him and pulled out in front of him.

This exact thing happened to me a few weeks ago. Thankfully he slammed on his brakes and I was able to swerve around him. But it was close enough that had I wanted to I could have kicked out his headlight as I went by. I've been riding since the 80's and from what I see, the roads are getting far more dangerous due to drivers operating their vehicles while paying little to no attention to what is going on around them.

Two kinds of people ride bikes...those who have wrecked and those who will.

Hope your bud pulls out okay. I lost a friend in a motorcycle wreck.

I wonder if the down votes that post got meant those people wished I would have been hit and killed by that car when he pulled out in front of me.

I lost three friends/acquaintances to motorcycle accidents in a one year span back in the early 2000's. All were far more experienced riders than me. I sold my bike shortly thereafter and havent been on a motorcycle since. Prayers sent...
