Before u all lambast me for coming to the OT, we are taking him to pediatrician first thing this morning, my question is do I take him to the ER. Bc we are getting ready to go now.
we are on day 4 w antibiotic and rotating Motrin and Tylenol every 3 hours,
Was told to take further measures if the fever didn't break in 3 days,
It didn't
Shallow breathing to a point he is stopping completely for 2-3 seconds before gasping
Heart racing a bit...fussy as all hell, kicking while falling asleep almost as if not to fall asleep.
Just want an honest opinion if I should take him now or keep him awake for 2 hrs and go to his dr.
TIA

ER, you have exhausted all reasonable home solutions. At this point you should be in the ER.

No shite. It's Wednesday for gods sake. Should have been there or doctors office first thing Monday morning.

Geez...I can't believe you need to even ask what to do.

This. With all due respect to the parent(s).

It's an emergency to you, so go to the ER; preferably a Children's hospital ER.

As a pediatric nurse.....
Take that baby to the ER

I feel like you can give a fever a day or two to go down with acetaminophen, if that does not work then yes go to the er. But since it has been since Sunday combined with the breathing problems is a definite ER trip as soon as those appeared.

Look this is my 3rd child and I know what I should do , but we suctioned his nose and the Motrin kicked in and he's semi back to normal, me and the wife were getting dressed for the ER when I posted this I just wanted instant feedback.
Thanks to all the helpful non-shite talking responses I got here.
I'm not fricking retarded.

Breathing problems = ER visit.
Everything else is up for discussion.

Are you completely fricking stupid? Do you realize breathing is a pretty important part of life. Whenever your baby is having breathing issues that's something you do not wait around on.

My guess is your son has fifths (sp?) I went through this last week with my son. A few days of antibiotics combined with swapping tylenol/motrin and he was back to normal. Be patient, it gets better

102 on a nine month old with breathing problems is a next morning doctor or ER visit.
That's as a parent. Not a medical professional. And that's not from an overly protective parent either.

Are you fricking illiterate? I was taking him and while getting dressed I wanted opinions, ESP from people up before 6am because most poster up right now are responsible people.

Debatable.
Your child stopped breathing and you have to ask whether or not to bring him/her to the ER
