Well duh. It all goes back to public schools. For nearly as long as millenials have been alive, their schools have had "zero tolerance" policies towards bullying and hate speech. They have been conditioned to find this acceptable just as gen-x was conditioned to find corporal punishment unacceptable. Schools form the norms that frame the perception of how those students see the world once they leave.

Interesting how the non white, the high school or less educated, the democrats, and the millenials lead each category in saying the govt should restrict speech.

The towel has to be thrown at some point.

Well I sure as hell wasn't surveyed.

Doesn't surprise me at all. This group is the most protected in history. That 40% probably don't have a clue what it means.

I find it interesting that those WITH a college degree are less likely to think this than those without. Goes to show all these idiots starting crap at these colleges are probably the same ones who will be dropping out very soon.

I am one of those people who thinks that people should be prepared for the backlash against their use of free speech. No where does it say I have to listen to you and then give you a pat on the back. I am welcome to spew back at you and not give you business or whatever. However, no one should ever limit free speech itself. I can't believe people actually think this. What if we stopped allowing them to protest for this? What would they say then?
