It kind of makes sense now.

They knew the audit would not go in their favor because of the secret meeting. So they were pushing for the tax to be voted in favor of before the audit findings could come out.

What a can of worms this has opened.

I read that as those folks walking out delayed the COA budget approval another 60 days. Right?

Yep. I am pretty sure that is an unintended consequence of the walkout. I'm sure they didn't intend to delay things like this.

They (the evil white Republicans) were going to call for a vote to delay for 30 days. The walkout automatically delayed it by 60 days apparently.
