I think a lot of these prices are for unused and still in the box stuff.

I still own every star wars toy my parents ever bought me. None are in the packaging but there are 100's of the mini figures, some larger ones and dozens of space ships and robots. Some quite rare like a Boba Fett, released right before Empire and a Luke Skywalker with the double light saber. Neither are in the package but all of the figures are in excellent shape.

or even close to it - you can find near mint items for each of those and the prices aren't close.

Buzzfeed, as usual, sucks. The dumbass who posted the buzzfeed can't figure out the difference between asking price and selling price.
