No Texas. We all lost our guns in a horrible boating accident.

Damn skippy. This should read, "Parishes/Counties with highest percentage of fricking idiots who are stupid enough tell a stranger their gun ownership status."

Registered guns.. And it's by percentage, this map has nothing to do with the amount of firearms per county/parish, so "most armed" is irrelevant

There is a lot of rural land up in Vermont. The combined population of Orange and Franklin 78,000, with 1321 sq miles of land. For comparison, it matches up almost exactly with Rapides Parish in sq. miles, but with half the population density.

Also, conceal carry without a permit AND you can legally buy a gun without parental permission starting at the age of 16.

There is no way this is accurate. I went to high school in Calhoun County Alabama and never met a single person that didn't keep a gun in the house.

Damn General made us Texans bury our guns in the dirt long ago. Pretty much why the Mexicans are taking over, getting us fat on their food.

California has a county shaped like a bone.

Iowa has the best looking counties.
