Worrying about the stickers others have on their vehicles = common or insecure a-hole douchebag?

In what world does this make sense? A marathon is 1/3 of an Ironman.

I think he's trying to say that an Ironman sticker is more impressive than a 26.2 sticker

What is wrong with being proud of yourself and getting one?

I only move that distance if aided by an engine of some sort but the kind of stickers people have on their vehicles do not bother me one bit.

Oh....well, it makes sense in this world. Assuming you have the reading comprehension I lack. I misread that.

I've ran three marathons. I don't have a sticker on my car because I did it for me not for everyone else, same reason I don't have a tattoo but most of all....

.... I don't put stickers on my car because I'm not trashy.

My sticker says 0.08.

The cops love pulling me over.

It's an impressive accomplishment, but you're still an a-hole for putting it on your car.

Probably don't have to complete a marathon to sport one.

You don't have to, but rocking a 26.2, 13.1 or IM logo on your car without completing the distance is about as poser as it can get.

I've got a cousin in law that has been training towards a full ironman. He's ran quite a few half ironman competitions all over the country. I think he does a full next year.

Way more impressive than marathon, IMO. However, if i ever ran a full marathon or ironman, you wouldn't be able to see paint on my car i'd have so many stickers.

Anyone dumb enough to run that far probably isn't someone I'd get along with

I don't feel that sticker are as much of a subtle or blatant brag as much as they show allegiance to or support of something.

It shows they're part of the running community. Kind of the same way an LSU sticker shows your support of LSU.

In a similar fashion stickers like Yeti, Browning, Salt Life show that your likely an outdoorsman and likely wear flannel.
