The Battles of Lexington and Concord were the first military engagements of the American Revolutionary War.[9] They were fought on April 19, 1775, in Middlesex County, Province of Massachusetts Bay, within the towns of Lexington, Concord, Lincoln, Menotomy (present-day Arlington), and Cambridge, near Boston. The battles marked the outbreak of open armed conflict between the Kingdom of Great Britain and thirteen of its colonies on the mainland of British America.

Well, we picked a fight more than they did if we're being totally honest.

Being totally honest isn't as much fun.

I didn't say us picking a fight wasn't warranted

They tried to tax us and take our guns, I would call that picking the fight.
Taxing and taking away our Guns, I didn't know Obama was British.

Why are you showing that historically inaccurate photo? George was too busy defending us from zombies to be crossing a river.

You do realize we rebelled against ever increasing taxes and reduced personal freedoms, right? It's not like our founding fathers woke up one day and said, "frick it, I want my own country."

Barrack Obama
Obama without the O is Bama. Bama = Alabama. Alabama is in the south. The south has the closest accent resembling an English accent. So Obama is secretly an English spy trying to destroy our economy in order to have the Brits buy the colonies back and finally get the money we owe them in taxes WITH interest.
It all makes sense! WAKE UP SHEEPLE!!!

Well yeah. They increased our taxes in order to get more money from us. They weren't saying "Hey lets increase their taxes so they'll get pissed off and rebel against us"
It wasn't the UK's intention to start a war with us over taxes.
