24-year-old Lafayette woman shot by home invaders

The victim, a 24-year-old female, was transported to a nearby hospital where she remains in serious, but stable condition.
Anyone with information about the shooting is encouraged to call Lafayette Police or Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.

Every time they start to get some momentum on the I49 expansion, these idiots come out of the woodwork and say that an elevated interstate would create a border West and east of the thru way.
I thought that was the whole idea?

Gang initiation or hit? Does she have an estranged bf with shady friends or ties to street business? Perps don't typically roll up on random women, shoot them and leave them for dead, and leave without taking something. Was anything taken? I couldn't open the article.

Liberal talking heads when they're being hypocrital, bike riding hipsters trying to prove they're not racist. Politicians who own a house in that district in order to run there on a platform of bettering their lives without ever actually doing anything but sucks manipulation for reelection.
