I wasn't interested in any discussion of higher education at the time, oddly enough she didn't seem to be either

Depends on the maturity of the 24 year old. If you're still fricking around in undergrad I could see it working. Can't imagine going to a sorority formal as a 24 yr old with a real job, as awesome as that concept sounds.

Age gap is fine. I dated a 22 year old for a little bit when I was 29. She had the same frame of mind as me, so it was cool.

Now, dating a girl who can't legally drink would suck. Don't really have a problem with that in New Orleans though

I don't see a problem with it at all. In fact, bravo to the 24 year old

I'm 28 and usually see 19-23 year olds. Zero fricks given if other people find it acceptable.

I'm in grad school and went to some of my gf's sorority formals. Some were fun. Others sucked because the maturity level of those around me was pretty awful. Really it depends on the crowd.

I dated a 19 year old ASU girl when I was 26. It worked out pretty well because she wasn't a sorority girl and she had a pretty mature personality. I also act way younger than I am. Now that I am in my 30s and have been in age appropriate relationships for a while I would love to find another college girl to "date". At that age they are all about having fun, are not bitter towards men, and don't have a biological clock ticking loudly.

And OP, how bout some pics?

Technically you are at the border on where you can date, but I don't think I'd want to date a 19 year old when I was 24. There's a big gap in maturity level, not to mention the bar scene.

40 years ago, I was 21 years old. I met my wife who was 16. We were married a few months later. Everyone said that I was robbing the cradle. Both of our parents met and were married at the same age and same age difference. I told her when she is 80 and I am 85, no one will think anything about it. We became adults at an earlier age. We didn't have video games and computers. We grew up together.
