The point of the ban was to halt immigration from those countries whose governments have little to no ability to properly vet their own citizens. Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Turkey, and Indonesia all have somewhat stable governments that have the ability to vet the backgrounds of its citizens attempting to immigrate to the United States.

Yes. It was a 23 year old Muslim who was already on a watch list.
ISIS also took credit, but they take credit for everything, so not sure what that is worth.

that WWII didn't crush communism and/or fascism, it just moved to the Soviet Union and China (it was already there really) and other parts of the world, just in non super powers

I'm guessing when you say "over there", you mean the Middle East. We can kill them all - "every man, woman, child and dog", as has been previously suggested - but that leaves about 85% of the worldwide Muslim population watching it happen. Nope. She has plenty of money, an ivory tower, and a staff of people petting her and asking "who's a good girl?".
If anything, after a short, yet respectful, respite, She will try to become some kind of spokesman. Fame from multiple directions creates superstars.

I'll help.
See Afghanistan and Iraq. You can't bomb the hell out of this problem and expect it to go away. I'm all for destroying terrorists or bombing known locations of terrorists, but the problem will persist and our government and others need a new proactive approach. I don't know what exactly that is, but the focus needs to be also be put on destroying the idealogy and the means in which it spreads.

i'm not trying to change anyone. A few pages back I suggested what I believe to be the only true answer. Kick them out of all Westernized countries. Force them to isolate themselves and let the citizens of those countries either choose to fight them or let themselves be slaughtered.
