To be fair, events like this show how necessary, yet incredibly shitty the ban is.
A) We've got bigger issues with radicals that are citizens.
B) We aren't banning Muslims worldwide, we're just banning then from countries with minimal political clout. Muslims from Saudi, Egypt, Turkey, and Indonesia are fine by us.
It is better than nothing, but only marginally.

You guys are trying to change beliefs, which will never happen. In a situation where everyone believes they are on the right side, overwhelming violence, or the threat thereof, is usually the only way to determine a winner. History has proven this time and again.
