Same here.

If anyone needs sandbags my office is across the street from a distribution location and I have an empty truck bed.

Salmon, I regretfully inform you that they have cancelled tomorrow mornings Farmers Market.

I guess I will stroll through the event at the mall this evening.

While I was out showing my wife the boat launch at the river, the divers showed up... The HOA hired divers to put bladders in the street drains, then pump out the water. From talking to one of the board members, that is their main concern since there are drains in the utility easements and that's also where the electrical boxes are. Once the water is out of the system, that will buy us another 3 feet or so, so it's not 100%, but The Haven is a little more in the clear now.

Pop, you should definitely reconsider The Haven. Overall, it's a great place to live- close to everything, private boat launch, 24 hour guard, no water bill- the list goes on.

There was talk of a chance of a tropical system in the western gulf next week.

Interested to see what the River bluff pictures look like from today.

There was a thread around here yesterday with some different sources. I'm sure it's extremely unlikely - was more referencing that things could get real hairy on the Red River in NW LA if any kind of gulf moisture sets up shop over the area and/or N Texas with the current levels.

I will definately entertain them, just need a decent sized back yard which seems hit or miss anywhere.

What's the word on if the casinos will close or stay open?

and GUMBO not surprised my mom can exaggerate things at times…no one at the haven has been asked to leave at all?

Casinos will stay open until the ramps are inoperable.

More pictures from River Bluff

Hoping someone will get some more aerials today

I'm running across the same thing. I want to stay in N Bossier when I buy a house. Most of the neighborhoods have postcard sized yards and the houses are 10 feet apart.

Pictures from the Horseshoe ramp, from the top looking down and the bottom looking up.

Notice the stair case they installed and the golf cart to help patrons get up and down.

They only sandbagged the driveway. Nope, water won't go around them, at all.

Im sure they will do every damn thing in their power to make sure that the casinos do not have to shut their doors.

They will not let that cash flow stop

ETA: I lol'ed at the driveway sandbags too. "I command you to not go through the bushes"

Solid find on the casino pictures GUMBO, that is wild.

LINK

Part 3 really highlights a high-end marina. Haven't seen a dock where they landscape it so well and I really like the accessible washing machines.
