So you basically watch them make up your tool then get to frick off until they finish cementing. Not a bad job.

Yea, with conventional float equipment I just figure out capacity of pipe and run the pumps to fill up.

My job is basically to make sure casing doesn't float or collapse..

Sorry, the oil companies use locals for production. Drilling is my area of expertise.

Mostly blackfin.

Have seen a few yellowfin. But not a lot.

Had a nice school working under a group of birds.

We have 2 semis working for us about 5 miles south and one 6 miles west.

They have had some yellow

Mudlogger. We do much more than people think nowadays though. I have 12 remote computers and 6 in my unit on this rig. Company men and FDEs never leave me the hell alone either.

Yeah, none of our female employees are worth the hassle of having a woman in the unit. Rig crew in and out of my damn unit all day every time we get a female sample catcher out here, and they aren't even hot

I didn't mind it. She was always calling me so I didn't have to play desperate. She came strolling into the change room one day while I was in there getting dressed and just starts chatting away with me.

She was also the best logger on the rig, so that was a nice bonus.

I'm sorry but I'm just a poorly paid and unintelligent directional driller. Your point went right over my head. Can you please be more detailed with your criticism?
