13 year old kid in my neighborhood committed suicide this morning

Shot himself. frick man. We need more mental health awareness in this country. 13 years old, hadn't even started life yet. No idea what he was going thru in his personal life, but damn. Definitely prayers and good vibes needed for the family

That is just damn sad. So many "why" questions in situations like this, I can't even fathom what the parents are going through emotionally.

A HS friend of mine lost his 13 yr old the to suicide little over a year ago.
I cant think of anything more painful than to lose a child by their own hand.
Kids are mean as shite and with social media you cant get away from it.

Weird. All the people that I know that committed suicide have been black. Two people.

Had a cousin hang himself at 15 in his bedroom closet when his parents got divorced.

Probably will be kicking themselves for the signs they missed. Very unfortunate, hopefully that will help someone else before it's too late.
