Looked again at the road schedule and tough home games vs. Dallas, Detroit and and NYG. I would say 100% yes. That would probably mean NFC South Champs or at LEAST a wild card. I think only 1 team has went 10-6 in the regular season and missed the playoffs...Miami in like 2003.

Cardinals went 10-6 in 2013 and missed the playoffs, but yeah I'd take 10-6. I don't see any other NFC South team beating 10-6 this year if we do it.

Damn I forgot about AZ missing at 10-6. After last season, I have to lean toward yes on 10-6. I think we can and will win the south with that record.

Would be nice but shipshoal has spoken. We already know we're going 6-10.

I don't know why, but that gif made me .

And yeah, I think everyone would take a 7-9 team one year going 10-6 the next year. Especially with all the youth and questions we have. 10-6 would likely get us the NFC South or at least into the playoffs.

Agreed. Does anyone know how our schedule ranks in difficulty? If i were to guess I'd say top 15 most difficult at least maybe top 10. Road games are brutal.

Based on last year, the Saints have the 28th most difficult strength of schedule. Have to keep in mind that we automatically get to start the season w/ 6 games against opponents w/ losing records. Then you add Tenn & Jax, and it automatically gives a huge reduction in "strength".

I also do not think the road schedule is overly brutal. @ARI & @INDY will be ridiculous games. But the others (PHIL, CAR, ATL, TB, WAS & HOU) are all very winnable games.

The only home games that will be a challenge are DAL, NYG & DET. But all 3 of those teams are bipolar and can go from being one of the best teams in the league one week to one of the worst the next.

I excluded the division rivals bc of all of the unknown factors (new HC, new coordinators, new QB...). I think TB steps up overall, but still finishes last w/ 5 wins and I think we sweep them. I see us splitting w/ ATL & CAR for an overall 4-2 record in the division.

This team was a dumpster fire last year and we managed to go 7-9 with an erratic offense and a horrendous defense.

Some people think we got worse this offseason. I see it as we became a better "team" this offseason and will play as such.

I predict 9-7, and winning the NFC South. I don't think any of our division rivals have done enough to get better than last year. Bucs will struggle with growing pains at QB (though they are talented). Falcons will struggle with growing pains from a new coaching staff. Panthers will be our main competition.

We have a great schedule. No back to back road games, no cold weather games, no Sunday-Thursday road game, no bye week opponents

Last years schedule was fricking brutal and I said it before the year

Yep, we couldn't close out games last year. Having a better oline can only help

Yes, I will take 10-6. Assuming 4 of those losses are to AFC teams and we sweep the NFC South.

I want a Div title, a home field playoff game and a winning record with no arrest reports.
