Could or Should the NFL front load the schedule to avoid the already known Hot spots.

In other words maybe the Giants/Jets, Saints, Rams and Chargers start with 2 road games.

At this point just being able to start on time will come as a pleasant surprise

At this point having a season would take a lot of things changing with the virus

Why not have the Saints play all home games on the road.

It worked out well for the Saints last time there was a crisis, not.

Yes, because there won’t be a season this year. Pretty big change to the schedule IMO.

I hope I am wrong but I have a bad feeling we won't have a season. We may have an abbreviated one. 10 games?? If we don't does Brees retire?

why do you people keep saying this? Every indication is that heat kills the virus. Even new york average high is in the 80's for june/july/august

Training camp may not start on time and there may have to be a schedule adjustment but this virus should be a nothingburger come end of July

Would you support watching televised empty stadium games?

That or nothing?

I’d take that in a heartbeat because I think that’s the best case scenario right this second.

If these hotspots still are hotspots come August you won't have a season.

Where did you get that info?? The CDC itself said itself that they have no idea if that will play out. This is not the common flu bug. I hope you are right but, as of now there is no evidence to suggest that. Go take a look at number of cases in countries that are warmer than we are right now. This thing hasn't been around long enough to go through seasons.

Most of the experts have said this is different from the flu virus and not to count on heat really slowing it down. I have a hard time seeing gatherings of 70k plus will happen in September especially in New Orleans.

There should be contingency plans.

Kick the schedule rotation forward a year and drop the nonconference games. Have that schedule ready to go in case we need to start in October.

Worst case, do a World Cup style season (except a home and home instead of just one game for the division opponents).

Preseason games perhaps.
Don't see a change for regular season yet.

A lot of chicken littles in here. I imagine the season will most likely be delayed but it won’t be cancelled.
